MISSION

Support the Company’s Business Development team ready and willing in all ways to dive into any initiative that drives results for the company wide growth goals in securing new strong program prospects. Learn to research and vet prospects while supporting the team through the sales process (initial lead funnel to close) responsible for the deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

DEPARTMENT :

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Concept Development Executives & Managers assisting the outbound and inbound program process by owning and building deliverables necessary to close business. Such deliverables include but not limited to:
    • Data Compilation for Filter Assessments
    • Pitch Decks
    • Informational Presentations
    • Surveys
  • Conduct research on such items as new concepts, new properties, competitors, market analysis along with any other relevant data points to support the success of the team and company’s business growth goals.
  • Build, update, and maintain team:
    • Asset database
    • Contact database
    • Historical data boards
    • Survey results & data boards
    • Partner gifts
  • Own Business Development monthly industry email responsible for content creation and building within Sixthman’s 3rd party email platform
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Senior Director of Business Development assisting in projects such as but not limited to:
    • Operational workflow of the concept development process
    • Project manage and act as client relations on potential Services accounts
    • Development of departmental assets (decks, one sheets, presentations) for external partners and internal teams to use as education tools.
  • Own the process of booking and being point of contact for Business Development guests sailing as well as preparing the team for all onboard hosting duties – gifting, coordinating schedules, etc.
  • Join calls and meetings with major agency or management firms, hotel properties, and potential business partners owning detailed and comprehensive information gathering to assist in follow up notes and next steps.
  • Filter inbound sales inquiries
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for team with external prospects or stakeholders as needed
  • Assist team in building a strong ever-growing pipeline
  • Coordinate travel for Business Development team
  • Assist with various day to day duties for the Business Development team as needed

SAILING:

    • Work at several of the Company’s festivals at sea or land annually and perform various duties onsite which could include partner relations assist, Business Development hosting, host, artist relations, etc. with goal of delivering world class experience to guest, artists and partners.

QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant internship or experience required
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Design abilities required (experience with Canva is a plus)
  • Detail oriented with high accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes or challenges
  • Experience in the music industry interacting with agencies and management firms or prior Business Development experience a plus
  • Experience with project management or event management a plus
  • Must have good verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Computer proficiency (Email, Word, and Excel skills)
  • Experience with project management platforms Monday.com and or Basecamp is a plus
